The only things more impressive than the Eastern Conference Finals are the flops that have come with the games. They’re even free of charge. Are you catching the sarcasm?

LeBron James, Lance Stephenson, Dwyane Wade and others have made football punters proud, taking the kickers’ art form and bringing it to the NBA.

But with the good comes the bad. There are been flops throughout the season that have been as bad as the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference Finals. And that’s a problem.

All jokes aside, flopping is a disgrace to the game. It’s the equivalent to a grown man throwing a tantrum in a supermarket because he didn’t get candy. Let’s not forget, though, LeBron James did receive a technical for talking to the referees about a call, and I thought it was front-page news. Apparently the design team at The Star disagreed.

Considering the talent level of players and large-range audience the NBA has, why are players embarrassing themselves pretending they were bumped so hard it made them fly five feet across the floor? Just grow up and play the game.
