Our Youth class wrote thank you notes to church members thanking them for what they do for our church.
Two of our youth were recognized as graduating this year: Alex Clark-12th grade, and Stephanie Williams-6th grade. We are so proud of our graduates.
Ray Clevenger was recognized as a Veteran, having served in the Navy. In remembrance of our fallen heros, we all stood and did the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag.
Bro. Doug’s message was from Acts: Peter was willing to do what God wanted him to do. Some people don’t want their lives disrupted by hearing the preached word of Jesus. Peter was unable to do anything on his own. Today if we aren’t filled with the Holy Spirit, we can’t do God’s bidding. Peter was reminding the people that they were the ones who crucified Jesus. Peter served the same God we serve today.
