P: Brooke Angle

Jr., 5-4, Wellborn

Noteworthy: Wellborn’s ace pitcher threw 197 innings this season, striking out 131 batters and walking 84. The junior had a 4.16 ERA.

P: Taylar Hamm

Fr., 4-11, Ohatchee

Noteworthy: Hamm was the Indians’ go-to pitcher, striking out 23 batters over 96 innings. The freshman was also a strong hitter, averaging a team-high .511.

P: Anna Craven

So., 5-10, Pleasant Valley

Noteworthy: Craven held a 10-0 record with a 2.33 ERA while batting .381 with a .581 on-base percental and .540 slugging percentage. The sophomore struck out 54 batters.

C: Lauren Carroll

So., 5-2, Wellborn

Noteworthy: Carroll made plays behind the plate for the Lady Panthers, recording 90 putouts and 22 assists. The sophomore compiled a batting average of .333 and stole 14 bases.

1B: Jordan Moorer

So., 5-5, Pleasant Valley

Noteworthy: Moorer rarely made a mistake at first base, earning a fielding percentage of .988 with 216 putouts. She recorded 36 hits on the year with 19 stolen bases.

1B: Shae Coley

Sr., 5-8, Wellborn

Noteworthy: Coley’s defense was outstanding for the Lady Panthers. The senior recorded 223 and held a .954 field percentage. At the plate, Coley had 35 hits and 16 RBIs.

2B: Alexis Tiller

Sr., 5-4, Ohatchee

Noteworthy: Tiller had a strong year hitting for the Indians, batting .328 and also stealing seven bases. The senior recorded 33 putouts in the field.

3B: Carlee Mullinax

8th, 5-3, Wellborn

Noteworthy: Mullinax played a large role in Wellborn’s state tournament run, batting .427 and .500 with runners in scoring position. The eighth-grader recorded 63 putouts, 72 assists and had a .508 on-base percentage.

3B: Kara Perry

8th, 5-6, Pleasant Valley

Noteworthy: Perry led Pleasant Valley to a Class 2A, Area 12 championship at the plate, batting .410 and having a .450 on-base percentage. The eighth-grader recorded 48 hits, 53 RBIs and four home runs. Perry’s slugging percentage was .641.

OF: Taylor Houck

8th, 5-1, Wellborn

Noteworthy: Houck help hit Wellborn to the state tournament with 43 hits and a .391 batting average. The eighth-grader hit .448 with runners in scoring position and had a .485 on-base percentage.

OF: Tiffany Williams

8th, 5-3, Pleasant Valley

Noteworthy: Williams hit a strong .402 average for the Lady Raiders as she collected 45 RBIs and 38 runs. The eighth-grader recorded 45 hits, including 17 for extra bases. She had three home runs and 14 stolen bases.

DH: Payton Camp

Jr., 5-6, Faith Christian

Noteworthy: Camp not only reached base more times than not, she also batted .528. Recording 38 hits, including 15 for extra bases, the junior had an on-base percentage of .565.

UTIL: McKinley Parris

7th, 5-5, Pleasant Valley

Noteworthy: Parris recorded five home runs, 41 RBIs and 35 runs for the Lady Raiders while hitting .357. The seventh-grader had an on-base percentage of .423 and hit .456 with runners in scoring position.
