Anniston Barracudas participate in swim festival

The Anniston Barracudas swim team participated in the Alabama Sports Festival State Games June 21-22 in Birmingham. All swimmers who finished in first, second or third place qualified to swim in the State Games of America in Hershey, Pa., at the end of July.

Ten swimmers are planning on making the trip. The kids have worked all year in the pool and are excited to not only represent Alabama, but also the city of Anniston and Calhoun County in this nationwide event.
