The Greater Alabama Council, Boy Scouts of America is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a free basketball clinic at the South Highland Community Center on November 2.

The clinic is for boys in grades 1-5. The event starts at 9 am and ends at 3 pm. Participants will get a basketball and a t-shirt for participating. They will take part in a two hour skills clinic, divided into age groups. Christian motivational speaker Sam Dansby, whose son plays in the NFL, will deliver a message to the boys and Judge Malcolm Street will tell the boys about the value of Scouting and the importance of character. There is no cost to participate.

For more information, or to sign up for the clinic, call Choccolocco District Executive Jacob Probus at 256-438- 0274 or jprobus@1bsa.org.
