It was a beautiful sunshiny day at Happy Hill Sunday. We had a good crowd but we sure missed those who were not there. It was so good to see some new faces in the congregation. On Sunday night, the message was delivered by Marty Barber.
Happy Hill will be hosting the Family & Friend Fest prayer meeting Thursday, January 16th at 6:30.
Join us in praying for Irmalene and Robert Norton, Betty Hayes, Carol Doyle, Earnest Bowen, Butch Pair, Sherry Brown, Ken Sanders, Terry Benefield, Rider Bearden, Joyce Craven, Rhonda O’Harrow, Lavada Vice and Alma Jacks.
Remember to attend church Sunday. Until next time, God Bless!
A marriage may be made in Heaven, but the maintenance must be done on earth.
THE LIGHTER SIDE
Two elderly couples were enjoying friendly conversation when one of the men asked the other, “Fred, how was the memory clinic you went to last month?”
“Outstanding,” Fred replied. “They taught us all the latest psychological techniques: visualization, association, etc. It was great.”
“That’s great! And what was the name of the clinic?”
Fred went blank. He thought and thought, but couldn’t remember. Then a smile broke across his face and he asked, “What do you call that flower with the long stem and thorns?”
“You mean a rose?”
“Yes, that’s it!”
Fred turned to his wife.
“Rose, what was the name of that memory clinic?”
