Melinda Kaye Cosper and Robert Paul Williams Jr. were married on March 21, 2009, at Hill Crest Baptist Church in Anniston.

The Rev. Barry Cosper and the Rev. Tim Whaley performed the ceremony.

Music was provided by Randy Adamson, Jonathan and Candy Tarr.

Parents of the bride are Barry and Cathy Cosper of Alexander City.

Parents of the groom are Carol Williams of Roanoke and the late Paul Williams.

Grandparents of the bride are Evelyn Gibbs of Ranburne and the late Bill Gibbs; and Cecil and Bernice Cosper of Graham.

Grandparents of the groom are Gwen Hall of Roanoke and the late Hubert Hall; and the late Robert and Imogene Williams.

Bridesmaids were Nicole Brown of Auburn, Liz Cosper of Wedowee, Christie Garrett of Newnan, Ga., Nikki Hall of Newnan, Ga., and Beth Porter Gleason of Baton Rouge, La. Maid of honor was Melissa Cosper of Anniston. Flower girl was Gracie Hall of Roanoke.

Groomsmen were Collin Adcock of Chipley, Fla., Eric Cummings of Roanoke, Russ Cummings of Roanoke, Brandon Fincher of Talladega and Rodney Hall of Alpharetta, Ga. Best man was Ron Garrett of Newnan, Ga.

Ushers were Clay Cosper of Wedowee and Luke Sudduth of Roanoke. Ring bearers were Joshua Corlett and Noah Corlett of Montgomery.

Wedding directors were Wayne and Sheila Bassett.


Melissa Cosper, Vickie Carmosino, Elsie Cottrell and Berniece Golden gave a couples shower on Dec. 13, 2008, at Woodland Hill Baptist Church in Huntsville.

Vickie Cummings and Dorothy Tidwell gave an entertainment shower on Feb. 21 at the home of Russ Cummings.

Joye Adcock, Elena Sudduth, Kortnie Sudduth, Emily Adcock, Lenita Hurley, Laura Lumpkin, Masie Hales and Lynn Barnes gave a tool shower on Feb. 28 at Roanoke Country Club.

Nicole Brown and Melissa Cosper gave a lingerie shower on March 7.

Trinity Baptist Church in Roanoke gave a bridal shower on March 8.
