Purdue is the latest school to release a schedule that includes a game with the Crimson Tide. Matt Painter’s team will play in Coleman Coliseum on Dec. 12.
“Our trip to Alabama will be a great challenge for us,” Painter said in a news release. “We are looking forward to a very competitive series.”
The Boilermakers went 27-10 this past season and reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament before falling to Connecticut.
The only other non-conference games known for Alabama include a neutral-site game with Kansas State on Dec. 19 in Mobile and those to be played at the Old Spice Classic scheduled for Thanksgiving weekend in Orlando along with Baylor, Creighton, Iona, Marquette, Michigan, Xavier and Florida State.
