Trisha T. Howell and Donald A. Turner Jr., were married June 28, 2009, at Anniston First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Hal Noble and the Rev. Woodfin K. Grove, pastor emeritus of First United Methodist Church, performed the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Thomas of Piedmont.

Parents of the groom are Mrs. Becky Willis of Weaver and Mr. Donald A. Turner Sr. of Apalachicola, Fla.

Miss Hannah Howell, daughter of the bride, and Miss Taylor Thomas, niece of the bride, served as honor attendants.

Mr. James P. Roberts, resident organist/music associate at First United Methodist Church, provided the music. During the playing of the Prelude and Chiming of the Hour, Neal and Andrew Turner, nephews of the groom, served as acolytes.

The bride was radiant in a beautiful off-the-shoulder, ankle-length ecru sheath satin gown. Seed pearls adorned the bodice of the gown and demi satin covered buttons complemented the back of the gown as it flowed into the sweep train. The bride chose majestic and regal Calla Lilies for her bouquet and for the other members of the wedding party.

Later in the afternoon, the wedding couple hosted a beautiful reception at the Anniston Country Club attended by numerous family members and friends. Guests enjoyed a delicious fare of refreshments while enjoying the music of Gerald H. Roberts, piano.

Following a trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in the Wellington community.
