Bravo to letter writer M.J. Champion's request to have the television guide returned to The Star's daily paper. I don't watch a lot of television, but it is nice to look at the daily TV guide in the course of reading the newspaper.
I can do without The Star's Crime Record section. I would recognize none of them if they were standing at my front door.
I can certainly do without the courthouse news that's in The Monday Record. Can't the editors imagine how terrible it would be to be a teenager and have your family's legal or financial problems out there for all your friends to see (if they even bother to read the paper, that is)? Anyone with a legitimate need to know this information can certainly find it out in a less public way.
