TUSCALOOSA — Barry Smith saw plenty of glory in Tuscaloosa as a center and long snapper under legendary coach Paul "Bear" Bryant during the late 1970s. On Saturday night, he took the field for a different reason: To put the spotlight on organ donation and the Alabama Kidney Foundation. He served as the honorary game captain for Alabama's game against Florida International.
