WEDNESDAY'S LIST ... of beans 'n' greens 'n' other things: GET A pencil and write this down:

Lxtv.com/openhousenyc/video/10358

Now, turn your computer on and Google the above. What you're looking at is an old barn in northern New Jersey that is the home of Joel Woodard and Susan North.

Play the video and let Joel and Susan take you on a tour of their home.

You may not know Susan, but the name Joel Woodard has to ring some bells with a lot of you.

Joel, Saks High Class of '79, is the son of the late Dallas Woodard and wife Mary of Saks. He left here, hit it big in clothes design in the Big Apple, and has added interior design to his "line."

Also, if you'd like a look at some other work by the Saks "kid," he has three websites:

www.joelwoodard.com www.jdesignantiquesgarden.com www.rusticchic.wordpress.com

The video you watch is from NBC Channel 4 in New York City. The barn restoration was also featured in the October issue of Traditional Home magazine.

Take a bow, Joel ... not only have you made Mom and your late father proud, you've done good by your hometown.

A VERY special lady, Lillaree Fair Miller, isn't doing all that well these days.

Lillaree is the tea cake lady from Jacksonville I told you about a year or so ago.

Now in her 96th year (Nov. 16), Lillaree suffered a stroke just before Christmas and, in her daughter's words, "has been terribly sick."

Remember her ... won't you.

OOPS I: The correct title for the Statler Brothers song I mentioned in a recent column is "Silver Medals and Sweet Memories."

"Google" it ... a wonderful song of World War II.

OOPS II: Diane Sawyer is 64, not 54 ... as I mentioned in another column ... and the simplest of math has never been my forte ... which is pretty bad for a guy whose father could figure fractions in his head.

QUOTABLE: "Every evening I turn all my worries over to God. He's going to be up all night, anyway."Mary C. Crowley

ROAD SIGNS: Nailed to a couple of trees on winding Gilbert's Ferry Road in the northern end of the county are a couple of hand-lettered signs ...

First sign:

Seen Littering . . .

Second sign:

You Will Be Shot . . . You'll see those heading out of Peeks Hill toward U. S. 431 ... and don't say you haven't been warned.
