On April 15, I locked myself out of my vehicle at Friendship Community Center in Oxford. My volleyball friends told me to call the Oxford Police for help. I did, and within five minutes Officer Tim Pitts was on the scene. Another five minutes and he unlocked my vehicle.

This deed by Officer Pitts is indicative of what policemen do for us citizens other than protecting us from crimes. Officer Pitts was punctual, professional, courteous and saved me money. Thanks to him and the Oxford Police Department for a job well done.
