I have known local veterans advocate Ken Rollins for close to 20 years. I was pretty closely associated with him at Anniston Army Depot for the majority of that time. I have never heard a word out of his mouth that had any connotation of racism or prejudice against anyone or any ethnic group.
He has helped more veterans than many state service officers. I think this is very reprehensible on the part of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post that is bringing these charges. If he is kicked out, I will tear up my membership card and never enter another VFW post.
