Rippin' Raiders become USSSA State Champions

The Rippin'Raiders 10Under softball team of Pleasant Valley recently became the USSSA State Champions after placing first in the Coosa Valley Girls Softball Association tournament. The team also placed first in the Battle at the Bluff tournament, the Pell City tournament and third place in the Pacers Shootout tournament. Their regular and post season record is 34-1.

Team members included first row, Holly Stewart, Lindsey Pritchett and Blakley Malsy; second row, Leah Johnson, Savannah Williams, Madison Bentley, Regan Stallings, Anna Bryant; third row, Atleigh Brannon, Cheyanne Griffith, Kara Perry and Bethany Bible; fourth row, Dave Bentley, Shane Johnson, head coach; Donnie Williams and Evie Waddell.
