And when it wasn't Nunnelly's legs, the Donoho quarterback was using his arm.
In the end — and actually after a early score by Decatur Hertitage — it was just a whole lot of Donoho.
The Falcons opened the 2010 season with a 36-7 win over Decatur Hertitage, which is in its first season to field a varsity team.
Ledford finished with a game-high 128 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries with near than half of those yards coming on his two big scoring runs.
Ledford's first came from 31 yards out and was the Falcons' final touchdown of the first half allowing them to take a 16-7 lead into intermission. Ledford's second was a 22-yard scamper that set the final.
Nunnelly had both big and small scores to account for his dual attack. He accounted for the Falcons' first touchdown on a 2-yard run, and finished with 168 yard total offense.
Nunnelley had six carries for 96 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and was 5-for-13 passing for 72 yards and another touchdown.
The bulk of Nunnelley's rushing total came on the Falcons' first touchdown of the second half. With 8:52 remaining, he went for 75 yards. He then found Walker Mason on the two-point conversion.
A little more than six minutes later, Nunnelley found Mason again, this time from 6 yards out, to all but ice the Donoho victory.
In addition to the touchdown, Donoho's defense also racked up points with a safety.
The Falcons' defense was led by Matthew Overton with 12 tackles and Garrison Morgan had 11.
Donoho returns to action next week as the Falcons play host to Ragland. It will be the first week the new region.
