Anniston Star - Congrats to … Jasmine Jackson

Jasmine Jackson has been chosen to represent Oxford High School at the 2012 session of American Legion Auxiliary Alabama Girls State, held on the campus of Troy University in Troy. She plans to campaign for the office of mayor. She is the daughter of Chris and Michelle Jackson and the granddaughter of George and Ann DeMyers and Juanita Jackson.

Jackson was co-captain of the Golden Girls danceline, treasurer of the National Honor Society, a member of Mu Alpha Theta and was Elks Lodge Alabama oratorical contest winner.
