Priya Bhatt, a 2012 graduate of White Plains High School, received a $1,000 Richard Madden college scholarship from the Over-the-Hill Gang at a recent banquet held at White Plains Baptist Church. She is the daughter of Roger and Shirley Bhatt of Choccolocco and the granddaughter of the late Claude and Edna Kemp, formerly of Conyers, Ga. She plans to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the fall. The scholarship was presented by Norman Parker.
