The White Plains High School team, The Raconteurs, recently won first place in the prose division of the Jacksonville State University Writer’s Bowl held Oct. 31. The group wrote a letter to the parents of The Phantom of the Opera explaining why their “child” would not be able to continue as a member of a certain school club.
