The Jacksonville State softball team won twice on the final day of the Kennesaw State Phyllis Rafter Memorial Tournament Sunday, beating Bowling Green 12-7 and Youngstown State 8-3.

Krystal Ruth became the third player in JSU history to have five hits in a game and first since 2004 when she went 5-for-5 in the first game.

The Gamecocks hit five doubles in the game, two by Kalee Tabor. Savannah Sloan had three hits in the game.

In the second game, the Gamecocks took advantage of six Youngstown State errors to rally from an early 2-0 deficit. Tiffany Harbin got the win in relief, striking out seven of the 15 batters she faced.
